Bits: Night It Up 2011

The overwhelmingly popular Night It Up night market, an annual event organized by the Power Unit Youth Organization, is on this weekend. Moving to a newer larger location by Warden and Highway 7, may have helped ease some of the congestion the fest has experienced in the past, but it was still chaotic at night. Chaotic in a good way as thousands crowded the Markham Civic Centre to taste and drink their way through dozens of stalls. I stopped by last night to take it all in.

Here are a few shots of event, which also runs today from 12pm to 12am. I highly recommend you visit, with patience some comfortable shoes, and an appetite.
