In lieu of Winterlicious earlier this year, Toronto’s veteran dining establishment Scaramouche launched a Lobsterlicious celebration to support Atlantic fisheries. The restaurant offered a fix prix 3 course menu with lobster as the main ingredient in French inspired cooking. People loved it, so much so that the program was extended until the end of July. I’ll admit, I’m not a good cook. I wasn’t born with a flair for cooking and I didn’t inherited any culinary prowess from the great cooks in my family. My partner on the other hand is a great cook. He is one of those people that can whip-up a meal with only the bare bones contents of a near empty fridge. Me on the other hand, I have to sit down with a recipe, buy all the ingredients and then get down to creating the meal.
