Once a year, as a thank-you to customers, the St. Lawrence Market opens its doors after-hours for 2 hours of free food and entertainment.
This year’s Customer Appreciation Night took place on Thursday, April 7th and nearly every vendor was open and serving prepared dishes that reflected the product they sell, as well as chatting and joking with customers. It was an excellent opportunity to get to know the folks who are usually behind the counter. While the lines were long, the atmosphere was festive and there was only a little jostling. As long as you come armed with patience to stand in long lines, and an appetite (with over 50 vendors showcasing their fare), you’re in for a wonderful, fun-filled evening.
