30 Days of Ontario Beer – Day 27 – Flying Monkeys Swoop Into Bar Volo

It was a both an enthusiastic craft-beer crowd, and a sizable selection of Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery kegs that poured into, and out of the taps at Toronto’s popular Bar Volo last week.

Part of the Ontario Craft Beer week celebrations, venues across the city are having their taps “occupied” for the night by top craft beer producers showcasing their talents.

On this night, the sheer breadth of styles was impressive, as were the results. Patrons could choose from close to approximately a dozen different beers, including Hoptical Illusion—a beer the company calls an almost pale ale, Antigravity Light Ale, and the Smooth Hoperator, a double IPA reserved for the most serious bitter-loving beerophiles.
