30 Days of Ontario Beer – Day 20 – Conversation with Nathan Cameron

Last week, several members of the Spotlight team had the opportunity to catch up with Nathan Cameron, national beverage manager for Prime Restaurants. Prime is the large national group that owns and operates popular pint pubs like Fionn Macool’s and Bier Markt.
While these beer halls have long been home to what Cameron calls your more “sessionable beers,” he also notes the massive shift of the broader drinking public across the city, towards the unique and interesting flavours offered by Ontario’s craft brewers. So much so, in fact, that even larger chains are taking note, by offering an ever increasing selection of Ontario’s finest.
In this 30 Days of Ontario Beer special video installment, Spotlight Toronto asks one of the city’s top bar-men—over a pint of Muskoka Brewery’s Mad Tom IPA of course—for his take on the growth, importance and enjoyment, of Ontario craft beer.
